Our Vision, Goal & Strategy
Macarthur Christian Network exists to serve the whole Body of Christ within the Macarthur Region by:
- Providing vision, communication, networking, co-ordination and resourcing, that supports Congregations and their members and other ministries, and encourages them to engage with the community where they are; and - Leading and challenging the People of God and their various ministries to be the Body of Christ in Macarthur
Vision
To see all the diverse parts of Christ’s Body in the Macarthur Region, each using their gifts and finding their calling, so that all our efforts work together to see the Macarthur Region transformed by Christ’s love. Our vision encompasses Congregations of many denominations and their individual members, welfare agencies, Christian schools, Christians involved in government and business, bookshops, campsites, creative artists and more.
Goals
Our goal is to see every person in the Macarthur Region engaged in a real way. We want to encourage them to search for the living God, and to be welcomed into a local Christian congregation that is a loving, worshipping and growing community of faith.

Strategy
To achieve this goal, we are working in a number of different ways, including:
1. Areas – for each area of Macarthur to have a strong cross Church body – Ministers’ fraternal or some other network where Christians gather who “own” their area and pray and organise appropriate events and initiatives to see their area transformed. 2. Communication – to provide regular information to local Christians that encourages and resources them for ministry. 3. Networking – to link people together with common passion and calling. 4. Strategic Gatherings – to gather local Christians at strategic points of time.
We aim to serve the local churches and other Christian ministries. We do not wish to establish programs in competition with local mission, nor do we wish to establish a competing fellowship. We aim to promote co-operation and trust between members of different Christian traditions, seeking to include and celebrate the diverse ways in which people live the Good News. Our desire is to serve our Lord and His Body, so that we will together see the Kingdom of God grow in Macarthur.
